Meet Suzanne Schneider, CEBS, CLTC

Suzanne Schneider has more than 25 years of experience as an insurance broker and consultant, specializing in long-term care insurance, life insurance, Medicare, disability insurance and employee benefits. In 2004, she became an independent insurance broker and the principal of her own firm, Schneider Insurance Services, Inc. Previously, Suzanne worked for several well-known national insurance companies and brokerage firms, as well as smaller regional brokers in the San Francisco Bay Area and Southern California.

Suzanne’s clients know that they can depend on her sound advice and thorough knowledge of all the insurance options available to them. They appreciate her taking the time to really understand their situation, ability to explain difficult concepts, and desire to help.

Suzanne earned the designation of Certified Employee Benefits Specialist CEBS (http://www.iscebs.org) through the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and also a Certification in Long-term Care, CLTC (http://www.ltc-cltc.com). She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley, where she competed for the varsity tennis team and was in the Alpha Phi sorority. Suzanne is currently a member of the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance (http://www.aaltci.org).

A Sought After Speaker

A sought after speaker for her comprehensive Medicare and long-term care insurance knowledge, Suzanne has presented to organizations as varied as the Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Berkeley as well as the Smith Ranch Retirement Community in San Rafael.

Suzanne is a Past – President of the Ross Valley Rotary Club, and in 2011, she received the 18th Annual Spirit of Marin award as the Business Citizen of the Year, chosen by the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce. She is a 6th generation Californian and a member of the Society of California Pioneers, an organization for families who were in California prior to the 1850s. Suzanne is understandably proud of her California ancestry.
